Dr. Katie Sands
Dr. Katie Sands graduated from Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Her passion for animals and nature blossomed at an early age in southern Indiana near Patoka Lake and the Hoosier National Forest. Today, she enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine.
When she’s not wearing her veterinarian hat, Dr. Sands enjoys taking her Australian cattle dogs kayaking, hiking, and camping. She has a long-term goal of raising sheep and training her dogs to herd them. She also enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, and watching her favorite tv shows and movies—which include Parks and Recreation and Lord of the Rings.
